Let it snow! Let it snow!

I am so very excited! Tonight hubby and i finaly got up some more of our christmas decorations. After a few minutes i looked outside and i couldn't believe what i was seeing. It was snowing! I was so excited i slipped on my shoes and ran out and stood in the snow. Yeah silly me. lol. This is the first snow of the season. Normaly here in Tn we don't get snow until january or later. So this is really really exciting! I took a few pics. I might get them up soon. Im just so excited that im bouncing in the computer chair right now!!!! lol. My decorations must have been good luck or something! lol.

What an adventure

Last night my wonderful hubby took me and Seth out for a ride in the country. It was fun. I sat back and saw some new places i hadn't seen before. Which is silly since i have lived in TN for over 5 years. It was nice to get out and explore a little. We came across this town i hadn't been to before. And i would have loved to go shopping and exploring there more, but it was gettin so late that we decided to head home instead. I think it was close to 10pm before we began to head home. Seth man was awake still in his carseat, but i could tell his eye lids were getting heavy. I looked back maybe 10 minutes after we began heading home, and he was fast asleep. Hubby said we would go back and shop at that town again when it's not so late. lol. So im excited to do that sometime soon! We finaly got home around 11 pm. But that was after stopping at Taco Bell for some grub. lol. After getting Seth to bed, i decided to do some christmas decorating. So that was what i did until about 2 am. lol. Hopefully i will have the rest of it done today. Can't Wait!!!!

Black Friday

Today Kevin and i decided to get into the madness of Day after thanksgiving sales. Last night we dropped the kids off and his parents for the night. So we didn't have to get them out in the cold this morning. I usualy don't do the crazyness of "day after" sales. But i thought it might be fun for a change. The real reason i wanted to go, was because old navy was giving away free mp3 players to anyone who spent over $20.00. While supplies last of course. I had planned on being up and to the store early. But by the time Kevin and i got to sleep, it was really late, i think around 2 am. I set my alarm for 4am. Thinking that we could still get there early. Well when my alarm went off this morning, i threw it against the wall. lol. I finaly woke up at 5am. We were out the door by 5:30 am. When we got to the old navy is Madison, only 35 or so minutes away, there were tons of people. I somewhat expected that. So we got in the store and i got the cute hoodies that were on sale for only $7.50, then we got in line. We were in line for 15 minutes, only to be told there were no more mps players. I was pissed! lol. I think i spent 30.00 for 2 hoodies and 2 shirts, all for the kids. Our next stop was one of my fav stores. Since it is so freakin cheap. We went to Big lots. There i was on the lookout for a TMX cookie monster for only 5.00. Unfortunately i couldnt't find it. They were already sold out of it. I was pissed again. lol. So we got some more things the kids would like. Some stocking stuffers, things for our dog. Some more christmas ornaments. Just little things. Then on out way to the checkout. We spotted this cute rocking horse. It was marked $39.00. This was awesome since Leigh Ann, my oldest child, has been asking for a horse this christmas. And most other places sell the same thing for like $100. We had to get it. The even better news, at the checkout we got a $10 off coupon for our next Big lots trip. And also saw that the horse was only $30. Then our 3rd and final stop was Kmart. We got some clothes for the kids. and some socks. Nothing too fancy. But hey, we are on a tight budget this year. As are most people. We were out of Kmart by 9:30 am and on our way to unload our treasures. Then off to my inlaws for thanksgiving. Good times! lol.
